The Full Story of
The U.S. hasn't changed.
War is not always fought between two nations, there are many questionable, undefined activities that take place behind the scenes.Something similar happened during the Indo-Pak War of 1971, where the U.S. decided to intervene in the ongoing war between India and Pakistan.
Brief: Design a A3 size poster on any major event in the history and then convert into five other posters.
Everything starts from a random idea sketched out on any piece of paper which then leads the way to final work.
After lot of discussions and redo's, I finalized one idea.
My idea:
My idea was to present the tension between the two countries, and how U.S. tried to sabotage India’s attempt to win the war.
I planned to draw parallels between the game of chess and the geopolitical scenario during the 1971 war. Taking the Respective Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan during the war as the head pieces, and the Bald eagle, as U.S., I planned to present the jeopardy
through symbolism.
I planned to take the collage style to depict the depth and complexity of the situation. Different layers of photographs create a sense of perspective and dimension, making the design visually interesting and engaging.
Later, the respective poster was converted into five different graphic design trends that were prominent throughout 2019- 2023.
